Healthy Soils for a Healthy World
Fostering healthy soils is a key part of our mission to grow fresh, delicious food without damaging the environment.
The del Cabo collective was born in 1985 when co-founders Larry and Sandra met a group of small-scale farmers in San Jose del Cabo. They found these farmers to be some of the best people on this planet who worked really hard, but were not in the right place to make a good living.
The goal of the del Cabo collective was to connect these communities with good products and teach them how to grow food in a way that’s healthy for them, for the consumer, and for the planet.
We produce over 30 varieties of organic herbs and vegetables for consumers across the USA and Canada
Today, the collective provides organic farming training and sustainable quality of life to over 1,250 farming families within 14 communities. Our del Cabo farming operations span the full length of the Baja California Peninsula and into mainland Mexico.
Del Cabo is a leading brand in the socially and environmentally-conscious production of organic tomatoes, peppers, squash and other veggies.

According to legend, these peppers made their way to Spain from South America via Spanish monks, who began growing them inside the walls of their monastery in Herbón.
